still uncovering

I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember. It’s always been my way to connect with the world—to process, to imagine, to slow down, and to see more deeply. From the very beginning, I’ve been drawn to nature, animals, and the magic of light—the way it reveals and transforms, how a sunny day and a rainy day can both hold their own kind of beauty.

Much of my inspiration comes from Pixar and Disney films, beloved children’s books, and artists like Norman Rockwell—works that capture warmth, honesty, and everyday wonder. I’m grateful for the teachers who encouraged me to simply be—to play, explore, and find joy in the process of making.

My recent work celebrates authenticity and presence. I aim for pieces that feel alive and approachable—sometimes finished, sometimes intentionally loose or abstract. Whether painting a family pet or sketching outdoors, I’m always chasing a sense of grace, balance, and gentle curiosity.

This show is deeply meaningful to me—it’s my first, and it’s taking place in a community that’s shaped and supported me in countless ways. I hope my work offers viewers a sense of comfort, light, and connection, and maybe a reminder to pause and see the beauty in the everyday.
